Phalanx is the slow-moving, frontline shields of Cabal. Armed with a large, physical shield, most of Phalanx's body is invulnerable to damage. Either fire at these creatures from behind or flank or shoot their gun-wielding arm to quickly dispose of them.
Tactics
Phalanx's large shield makes most of their body invulnerable to both melee and ranged frontal damage. Players need to shoot the arm that wields the gun or their feet to expose their body. Once their shield is out of the way, shoot their tiny heads and quickly kill them.
Players can also use explosive weapons such as grenades and Rocket Launchers to deal with them.

Phalanx soldiers carry massive shields, used for both attack and defense. While this protection is nearly impenetrable, clever opponents can bait the Phalanx or sneak shots around the shield.
