Vanguard Marks can be obtained from PvE activities while Crucible Marks can be obtained from PvP activities. Vanguard Marks can be exchange to various Vanguard NPCs for Legendary Vanguard weapons and armor. Crucible Marks can be exchange to Crucible, Dead Orbit, New Monarchy and Future War Cult NPCs for Legendary Crucible and other faction weapons and armor.
