Text Walkthrough
Objective: Talk to Ikora Rey.
Description: The Warlock Vanguard, Ikora Rey, left a posting here - signed, handwritten, and asking for you.
Step 1
- Talk to Ikora Rey, the Warlock Vanguard, to obtain A request from Ikora Rey Part I.
- Complete a total of 5 strikes without dying to obtain A Request from Ikora Rey - Completed. Note that you can die in-between Strikes just do not die during a Strike.
- Return to Ikora Rey to obtain A request from Ikora Rey Part II.
Step 2
- Earn a Kill + Assist - Death Spread of 25 in the Crucible to obtain A request from Ikora Rey II - Completed. (25 more kills + assist than death)
- Return to Ikora Rey to obtain A request from Ikora Rey Part III.
Step 3
- Complete a Weekly Nightfall Strike or Weekly Heroic Strike to obtain A Clot of Darkness.
- Return to Ikora Rey to obtain Invective (Uncharged).
Step 4
- Purchase an Invective component from the Gunsmith for 50 Special Ammo Synthesis (cost 12,500 glimmer total) to obtain Invective (Charged).
- Return to Ikora Rey to finally obtain Invective.
Tips and Tricks
Step 4 Tips
- Play Control only. In Control people care more about capturing points than getting kills.
- Assists worth as much as kills. Use grenades and other AoE abilities to tag enemies and get assists.
- Camp if you need to.
- Be Patient and slow down. Snipe to tag players from afar if needed.
