He has 1 piece of Exotic armor per class in a random slot. Additionally, you can purchase Exotic Engrams for 23 Motes of Light each. Players can purchase Exotic Shard used to upgrade exotic weapons and armor for 7 Strange Coins.

Upgrading Old Exotic Gear
In After December 9th, players will be able to upgrade previously acquired Exotic weapons and armor to have higher base Attack, Defense and Light values. Each upgrade will cost 1 Exotic Shard and over 7000 Glimmer. Upgrading the item will reset its unlocks and other progressions.
- Each week Xûr has a selection of 5 weapons and 5 armor items to choose from.
- Players do not need to own The Dark Below to upgrade their old Exotics.

Exotic Primary Weapons cost 23 Strange Coins each while Special and Heavy Weapons cost 17 Coins each.
Armor
These Exotic armor cost 13 Strange Coins each.
