Vanguard Elite Strike Scoring is an update to all Rise of Iron Vanguard Strike playlists. Vanguard Elite awards points to players as they defeat enemies and progress through Vanguard Strikes, and offers new medals which reflect the in-game actions of players.
Contents
Basics
- The Vanguard Elite feature, Quest, and Bounties are not limited to the Dawning Live Event, and will continue to be available after The Dawning concludes on January 3rd, 2017 at 01:00 AM Pacific Time.
- Vanguard Elite Quest - Available from Commander Zavala. Available once per week, per Character.
- Strikes in the SIVA Crisis Playlist, SIVA Crisis Heroic Playlist, and weekly Nightfall now award Medals and feature team scoring
- First weekly completion of the Nightfall provides 1 Skeleton Key per account (NOT per character)
- Zavala is now offering 3 weekly bounties (1 Nightfall, 2 for Strike Scoring playlists – Weekly Elite Bounties)
- Gear will drop up to Light Level 400 from completed Bounties
- The Bounty Robot is now offer 6 daily bounties named ‘Vanguard Elite Bounties’ which surround feats within Strike Scoring playlists offering Rep and Experience similar to regular Bounties
- 3 Strikes have been reprised: The Nexus, Shadow Thief, and Will of Crota.
- SIVA Crisis and SIVA Crisis Heroic Playlists now include all platform-available Strikes
- Players can receive one free Treasures of the Dawning each week by completing their first Weekly Heroic Strike

Strike Scoring Medals

- Streak = 3, Spree = 6, Rampage = 9
- Your Spree medals can be minutes apart in between getting the next one to accumulate to a Rainbow Medal - To get one - Get a Primary Spree, Special Spree & Heavy Spree.
- Time Bonus points are 25 base points + 25 per second left
- There are 7 medals that count for All the Medals in the Competitive Spirit Record Book. The record All The Medals can only be met by receiving the following medals from completing Vanguard Strikes in a playlist activity: Bronze Tier Achieved, Silver Tier Achieved, Gold Tier Achieved, Time Bonus, Brutal Efficiency, Flawless, or Indestructible.

Strike Scoring Rewards
- Upon completing Zavalas Weekly Elite Nightfall Bounty offering 10,000 Exp, 200 Vanguard Rep, 10 Legendary Marks and Nightfall bounty has a chance of a Weapon and/or the returning ‘ICE BREAKER’
- The remaining 2 Weekly Elite Bounties offer Offering 10,000 Exp, 200 Vanguard Rep, 10 Legendary Marks and a chance at a new Armour set
- The Year 1 shaders that used to be rewards from playlists now have a chance to drop from Vanguard Elite Bounties
- PLEASE NOTE - These Weekly Zavala Bounties can be picked up on ALL 3 characters. 3 Weeklies, per character, per week

- Omnigul – Grasp of Malok (Pulse Rifle), Omigul Bond (Warlock Class Item)
