Tips and Tricks

  • With very fast Rate of Fire, this weapon is an absolute monster at close range, you can easily deal with enemies in medium range as well, however its effectiveness drops steeply at long range. The gun kicks a little unpredictably, so even if you were a master at aiming, you have to get your bearings first to compensate for the recoil. Because of this, anyone with a high or even medium stability weapon can turn you to ribbons before you can get their shields down. With the Perfect Balance upgrade, however, this thing is unstoppable. Because it stabilizes over time, even a slight reduction in the initial burst of recoil can seriously up your effectiveness, and the Perfect Balance perk halves that recoil. It’s still not a sniper by any means, but with some good upgrades, this gun is a monster in PvP. It does have a slightly slower time to kill than some guns, but even as a Titan I’m able to stay mobile enough to put enough bullets in to someone while keeping theirs out of me.
  • Which brings us to Epilogue’s PvE effectiveness. I’m gonna say it right now, this gun is one of my favorites to use on the Vault of Glass. Barring the Atheon fight where precision on the Supplicants is key, this gun is effective against damn near everything due to it’s void damage. You can tear through enemy shields like tissue paper, and finish them off with any high-damage gun, including the Epilogue itself. Like I said before, you might want to swap it out during the Atheon fight if you’re opening the portals, as the Supplicants go down much faster with precision damage, but if you have the Perfect Balance upgrade, you might not have to at all.
