Description	This weapon causes Void damage.

Void Damage is one of four damage types that can be inflicted by weapons in Destiny. When damaging an enemy's shield in PvE activities, Void rounds deal 100% of their normal damage values against Arc and Solar shields while inflicting double (200%) damage to Void shields. Note, however, that the Match Game modifier on Heroic or Nightfall strikes will impose a significant (~75%) damage penalty when facing Arc and Solar shields with this damage type.

Grenades, Melee attacks, and Super Abilities of the following subclasses inflict Void Damage:

• Defender
• Voidwalker
• Nightstalker

Other damage types:

• Kinetic Damage
• Arc Damage
• Solar Damage
