Armor Materials is a common material used to unlock Armor Perks. Released in The Taken King (Year 2), Armor Materials replace the class-specific Hadronic Essence, Plasteel Plating, and Sapphire Wire as materials needed to unlock perks and upgrades on armor.

Obtained By

• Dismantling uncommon or higher rarity armor.

• Armor materials from Year 1: Plasteel Plating, Sapphire Wire and Hadronic Essence can be traded to Vanguard Quartermaster for Armor Materials

Used For

• Unlock Perks on Armor.
