Vanguard Heroic Playlist, introduced in The Taken King (Year 2), replaced Weekly Heroic Strikes from Year 1. Vanguard Heroic Playlist features a specific strike at level 40 that changes every week. These Strikes have various modifiers and offer special rewards. The higher level you choose to complete this strike, the better your reward will be. Rewards do not stack and higher tiers subtract previously gained lower-tier rewards.
By completing these Strikes, players are awarded with Legendary Marks. These rewards are received at the Account level rather than the character level. A Legendary Engram
