Vanguard Commendation is a currency from Vanguard faction. Used to earn 250 reputation points with Vanguard, Crucible, New Monarchy, Dead Orbit and Future War Cult factions after the release of House of Wolves.

• Released after The Dark Below expansion.
• Note that Vanguard Commendation is transferable between characters.

• Obtained from Vanguard Reward Packages from Vanguard Reputation rank ups (Rank 3 or higher).

• Used to purchase Legendary Weapons from Vanguard Quartermaster (1 Commendation per weapons).

• Used to purchase Legendary Helmets and Chest Armor from Titan Vanguard, Warlock Vanguard and Hunter Vanguard (1 commendation per piece).
