Crucible Marks - Currency of the Crucible. Used to purchase weapons and armor from Crucible Handler, Crucible Quartermaster, New Monarchy Vendor, Future War Cult Vendor and Dead Orbit Vendor. Obtained from Crucible matches or Material exchange.
Glimmer - The main currency in Destiny. Used to purchase items from vendors and upgrades for weapons and armor. It is shared among all of your characters. Players can obtain Glimmer from killing enemies and completing missions.
Mote of Light - Used to purchase gear from The Speaker. Obtained from gaining EXP after level 20.
Vanguard Marks - Currency of the Vanguard. Used to purchase weapons and armor from Vanguard Quartermaster, Titan Vanguard, Hunter Vanguard and Warlock Vanguard. Obtained from High-level Strikes, Material Exchange and Daily and Weekly Missions and Strikes.
Strange Coin - Currency of Xur. Used to purchase Xur's Exotic weapons and armor. Obtained from Weekly Heroic Strikes and deciphering rare engrams.
