Ornamentation is a mechanic that allows the player to customize the looks of their Weapons and Armor. Weapons and Armor will have perks that can be activated by ornaments to dramatically change their appearance without altering their stats. Ornamentation applies to not only Year 3 Gear but also Year 2 Exotic Weapons.

Ornaments are obtained from Radiant Treasure Box. A set amount is available every week and additional ones can be purchased from Eververse Trading Company. These ornaments include re-skinning Monte Carlo and Invective into SIVA and Iron Lord themed or changing your armor into Iron Lord themed.

Special Ornaments are only obtainable from hard to achieve activities such as completing Wrath of the Machine Hard Mode or Flawless Trials of Osiris runs.
